About the Role:
We are excited to offer a unique opportunity to join our team as a Brain Science Counselor. In this role, you will introduce campers to the fascinating world of neuroscience, helping them explore how the brain works and its connection to behavior, memory, learning, and creativity. Through hands-on activities and engaging discussions, you will spark curiosity and inspire young minds to delve into the wonders of brain science.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver interactive lessons on brain anatomy, function, and neuroscience fundamentals.
• Lead hands-on activities and experiments, such as building brain models, exploring memory games, or understanding sensory processing.
• Facilitate group discussions on topics like how the brain learns, the impact of emotions, and the importance of mental health.
• Introduce campers to brain-related careers and cutting-edge research in neuroscience.
• Incorporate fun activities such as brain puzzles, mindfulness exercises, and problem-solving challenges.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment that promotes curiosity and learning.
• Work with other counselors to integrate brain science themes into the camp's broader educational programming.
