About the job Demand Generation Specialist
The Opportunity: We're hiring a Business Development representative. This role is a hybrid of traditional prospecting and early-stage selling. As the front line of new opportunity creation, you will be responsible for the full "top-of-funnel" experience, turning conversations into a qualified pipeline. You must be comfortable in a fast-paced setting where processes evolve quickly as we scale.
The Opportunity: We are looking for a Demand Generation Specialist to join our marketing team and own the programs that fill our marketing and sales pipeline. This is a hands-on execution role where you build, run, measure, and improve campaigns. As an individual contributor with no direct reports, you will work closely with the marketing and sales development teams to ensure the right prospects are engaged at the right time. Your success will be evaluated on pipeline contribution, lead quality, and reporting accuracy.
What You Will Own
- Pipeline Generation & ABM Campaigns: Plan and execute Account-Based Marketing (ABM) campaigns targeting our ideal customer profile. You will run paid digital campaigns on LinkedIn, managing audiences, creative, and budget optimization while ensuring the BDR team is aligned for outreach.
- Email Nurture & Lead Programs: Design and manage the nurture architecture that moves leads through the funnel. You will build sequences in marketing automation platforms and flag high-intent leads to the BDR team quickly.
- Inbound Lead Generation: Own the inbound lead engine, including website conversion optimization and form-to-CRM lead flow. You will test improvements to conversion rates continuously.
- Content Deployment: Take thought leadership and messaging developed by the product marketing team and deploy it across LinkedIn, newsletters, and email sequences, briefing the coordinator on production needs.
- Reporting & CRM Strategy: Own marketing attribution in Salesforce. You will produce weekly pipeline reports for the VP of Marketing, tracking source tagging, cost per lead, and conversion rates at every funnel stage.
Who You Are
- A Builder: You are energized by creating programs from the ground up.
- Execution-Focused: You ship actual campaigns rather than slide decks about campaigns.
- Data-Driven: You live in your dashboards, know your numbers cold, and dig into metrics until they make sense.
- Collaborative: You understand that your results depend on strong alignment and partnership with the sales team.
- Curious & Accountable: You test, learn, and iterate. When a campaign underperforms, you take ownership to figure out why and fix it.
- Resilient: You are comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, lean environment.
What We're Looking For (Must-Haves)
- Experience: 5+ years of B2B demand generation and digital marketing experience, with a strong preference for SaaS or software.
- Industry Context: Experience in industrial software, manufacturing technology, CMMS, ERP, or EAM.
- Technical Mastery: Hands-on experience with LinkedIn Campaign Manager (building audiences, writing copy, managing budgets) and marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Marketo, Mailchimp, etc.).
- Salesforce Proficiency: Experience with pipeline reports, lead source tracking, and attribution.
- Sales Alignment: Experience working alongside BDR/SDR teams on lead handoff and campaign alignment.
- Tooling: Familiarity with Apollo.io or similar sales engagement and prospecting tools.
- Communication: Strong written skills, your email and ad copy sound like a real person, not a template.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in French is a plus.
Why Join Us?
- Stability & Innovation: A role within a stable company that is continuously innovating.
- Growth Opportunities: Defined paths for professional development within the organization.
