Warehouse Manager

Responsibilities

Inventory Management. Accurate stock control, all bin locations are maintained, and all stock is a correct bin location

Manage the flow of goods in the Supply Chain, coordinate inbound & outbound shipments, manage transport logistics ensuring accurate order fulfilment.

Ensure efficient utilisation of space, storage systems, equipment, and team.

Implement inventory stock controls to minimise inventory adjustments

Prioritise the safety of employees and ensure compliance with health & safety regulations.

Work closely with sales, workshop, procurement and finance teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration across departments

Implement strategies to optimise warehousing and logistics processes.

Identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address issues

Develop and maintain relationships with key service providers and internal customers to ensure the highest level of service and support

Effective fleet maintenance 

Effective warehouse equipment & machinery, building and overall site management

Manage an effective document retention system

Qualifications and Experience

Matric (Tertiary qualification preferred)

At least 5 years' experience in Warehousing

8 years People management experience

Thorough and attention to detail

Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities

Must have good customer focus and service delivery orientation

Problem solving and solutions orientated

Strong written and communication skills
