Minimum Requirements:

5-year experience in part sales.
·
Matric or equivalent.
·
Valid Driver License.
·
Computer skills- Microsoft Windows and Email
software.
·
Strong oral and written communication skills.
·
Problem solving skills.
·
Ability to explain technical details clearly to
customers.
Responsibilities:
·
Determine replacement parts required in
accordance with sample parts provided by the customer, customer requests or
orders, by consulting internet and printed catalogues and the Company database
to determine replacement part numbers and prices.
·
Carefully examine returned items for defects,
prior to the processing of Returns for Credit (RFC’s).
·
Measure parts, using a Vernier or other
precision measuring instrument to ensure correct sizes supplied.
·
Supply customer with parts from available stock
where possible and timeously request the placement of orders when necessary.
·
Maintain and increase product knowledge by
studying and digesting updated catalogues, product information literature.
·
Ensure that all generator, complete engine and
small plant equipment enquiries are discussed with management who will
distribute them to staff trained to handle these enquiries.
·
Provide monthly reports to management, as well
as sales forecasts with long and short-term sales and profit objectives as
required to achieve monthly targets.
·
Comply with all Claims and Returns instructions
and procedures so as to ensure these are properly dealt with in accordance with
company policy.
·
Comply with all company procedures relating to
the obtaining of required customer information and details (COD accounts and 30
Day Accounts).
·
Monitor competitor pricing and pass this
information on to management so that it can be loaded on the Unibase system.
·
Establish and manage good relationships with
customers that recognize and enforce concepts leading to customer loyalty and
referrals.
·
Follow-up and resolve customer requests and
complaints, referring same to senior management where necessary.
·
Assist in the development and implementation of
product lines in demand in order to increase sales revenue.
·
Actively promote the products that the Company
offer to its customer base.
·
Ensure customers’ requirements are met in an efficient,
knowledgeable and professional manner.
·
Reply to all telephonic, electronic mail and
internet requests made and provide information as requested.
