This is a unique opportunity to join our fast-growing company. The role of these positions is to develop the informal retail channels for a basket of branded products in Gauteng province.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

  • Maintain and enhance customer relationships to ensure high customer satisfaction, monitor operational performance, identify new opportunities, ensure continued partnership with customers and build relationships.
  • Develop new business to increase sales volumes and revenue growth for the Company by selling the total basket of products and brands to the Formal retail channels.
  • Contribute to the compilation of sales budgets per customer, together with the Sales & Marketing Executive.
  • Managing and growing forward share
  • Increase visibility of companies's  Brands in informal retail through a well-planned Sales and Marketing strategy
  • Manage customer relations, and ensure customer satisfaction at all times.
  • Focus on growing and generating new business in targeted areas.
  • Share market intelligence and trends on a weekly basis.
  • Responsible for developing, updating and understanding the Informal retail trade for each customer so the company can map out its customers history and help determine their future so that both the company and its customers can grow.
  • Responsible for driving appropriate actions to initiate and/or implement plans as detailed in the Independent retail plan including proposed market research, presenting possible alternative solutions
  • Achieving the Companys strategic business goals within the specified time frames.
  • Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum Grade 12 with Sales and Marketing experience
  • Minimum of 6 years sales experience in the Informal retail channels including Midi Wholesalers, Independent Retailers, Spaza and Tuck shops.
  • Experience of merchandising.
  • Drivers License

REMUNERATION:

  • Market related Basic salary based on experience and track record.
