ROLE DESCRIPTION:
The role drives an employee-orientated culture with emphases on quality internal services, employee development and retention, and continuous improvement. The role serves as a senior support role to the management on site.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Grade 12 with a bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management / Industrial Relations Management.
- Minimum 5 years of HR Management experience.
- Labour relations training

- Sound knowledge of labour laws (BCEA, EEA, SDA, LRA)
- Strong Administration Skills

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Coordinate and perform recruitment functions
- Conduct Induction and On-boarding on HR practices and ensure departmental induction takes place
- Manage the Performance Review process and advise on appropriate steps
- Manage administration of documentation relating to injuries on duty
- Manage and co-ordinating employment equity activities
- Manage and coordinate internal, cross-functional, and external training
- Monitor Staff Time & Attendance
- Administer ERS Biometric system
- Drive culture initiatives
- Drive corrective action and grievance processes
- Succession Planning monitoring and controlling
- Disciplinary Hearing process support (charges, documentation, evidence pack preparation, track and control)
- Ensure accurate payroll document submission.
- Track, control and analyse HR practices
- Compile monthly and quarterly HR reports
- Ensure labour law compliance
- HR, SMETA & DoL Audit compliance
