Qualifications and Experience:

  • CIMA/ ACCA Qualification Completed or Newly Qualified CA(SA)
  • Minimum of 3 years experience (post articles) in the field of Accounting/
  • Management Accounting
  • Strong technical knowledge info fields Management Accounting, Reporting and
  • Forecasting
  • Advanced MS Excel PowerPoint Power Point
  • Financial Modelling in MS Excel would be advantageous.
  • Key Roles and Responsibilities:
    Compilation, preparation, and review of Consolidated Management Accounts for a group of companies (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Free Cashflow) Prior experience of the aforementioned at entity and group level is a pre-requisite for the position.
    Preparation, investigation, analysis and reporting of Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow items on a monthly, quarterly, and year-to-date basis against the prior month/ quarter/ year as well as against budget/ forecast Reporting and commentary writing of Monthly and Quarterly result to Executives and the Board of Directors of the aforementioned is a pre-requisite for the position.
    Managing of a month-end reporting process/ quarterly reporting process/budget process from start to finish will be greatly advantageous.
    Analysis and reporting by way of rate and volume variances and process analysis of specific Income statements, Balance sheets, and Cash Flow items through critical analyses of trends, cost drivers, and key performance indicators.
    Assist in specific analysis of Revenue and Cost of Sales categories per product/market/ channel/ entity through critical analyses of trends, cost drivers, and key performance indicators.
    Assist in specific analysis of New Sales, Churn, and Subscriber Base categories per product/ market/ channel/ entity through critical analyses of trends, cost drivers, and key performance indicators.
     Preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations
    Preparation and analysis of Departmental Management Accounts as well as conducting review meetings with Budget Owners/ Division Heads and providing feedback to Executive Members
    Preparation, investigation, analysis, and reporting of Annual Budgets and short, medium- and long-term Forecasts.
    Liaising with Budget Owners/ Division Heads/ Executive Members for information to complete Annual Budgets and short, medium- and long-term Forecasts.
    Preparation, investigation, analysis, and completion of the short-term Cash Forecast
    Support business with costing/ profitability analysis of projects as well as other adhoc functions
    Drive continuous improvement in customer service levels in all areas of the business involved in Signatory for payments.
