A fast growing recruitment agency is looking for a dynamic Business Development Specialist to join their team in Pretoria. The successful incumbent will be responsible for generating and following leads, meeting planned sales targets, preparing proposals and other documentation to send to potential clients, while retaining and growing an existing client base.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop business plans with the assigned accounts.
  • Source for new business and clients and building relationships.
  • Meeting with clients and presenting proposals and leading of sales negotiations.
  • Educate, lead and supervise members of the team to ensure the project's achievement.
  • Conduct complex analysis in order to find new market opportunities.
  • Investigate existing products and services and compare them with competitors.
  • Suggest measures for improving customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Handle business deals operations and activities.
  • Oversee the implementation of different contracts.
  • Build, encourage and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Create and present a detailed report for upper management.

Requirements:

  • A relevant tertiary qualifications.
  • Previous working experience as a Business Development Consultant or in Sales Management for at least 5 years in the recruitment services and/or IT, machinery and equipment sector.
  • Previous experience as a Senior Recruitment Consultant is advantageous.
  • A proven track record of providing actionable solutions.
  • Ability to meet targets (non-negotiable).

  • Valid drivers license with own reliable vehicle.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
