Role description:

Organizing the safe and efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of warehoused goods including the management of model stock. Manage forklifts to ensure they are reliable, optimally utilized, and retain long-term value.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Ensure sufficient stock fulfills daily order demand by communicating with another team member on s at daily.

• Ensure turnaround of trucks is within agreed targets.
• Ensure all is stock picked and loaded correctly.
• Ensure all stock is correctly and neatly stacked to avoid damage.
• Ensure FIFO is practiced when loading orders with slow-moving moving items, older than 4 weeks, for action.
  Weekly stock inspirit-and write up of stock older than 4 weeks emailed to sales and demand planning to
  action.
• Ensure all rejected products are removed from the warehouse within 24 hours. All hold product has a
• decision made within 24 hours.
• Ensure the returned product is managed according to the returns protocol and traceability is maintained.
• Ensure actuals do not exceed budgeted amounts.
• Ensure that forklift drivers recruited are properly qualified and existing drivers retain their licenses.
• Dust, Air, Spillage, and water leakage-free plant must be achieved and always maintained - corrective.
• action must be taken to ensure plant compliance. Also, general plant maintenance is to be managed.
• Ensure the warehouse poses no fire risks.
• Ensure compliance with food safety requirements as per FSSC22000 (including Allegan Management etc.)
• "Ensure a zero-tolerance approach to pest control is implemented by:
• Daily inspections
• Monthly site walk
• Annual intensive deep cleaning
• Management of pallet cleaning & weighing of returns from customers

Qualifications:

• Diploma in warehousing
• 3 - 5 Years experience in food-related warehousing
• Pest control experience will be advantageous.
