Our client, a leader in the office automation industry, is hiring Internal and External Sales Executives join the Smart Solutions team in the East Rand. You will be responsible to develop and service existing customer base / New Business and to maintain and achieve Targets as set out by the Smart Solution Manager daily.

Duties and responsibilities:

Telesales:

  • A minimum requirement of 50 telephone calls to be achieved per day, to existing as well as new customers / Min of 2 appointment per day.
  • Knowledge of Smart Solution range of products.
  • Minimum of 2 quotes per a day
  • To ensure customer satisfaction of products purchased.
  • To inform customers of special offers.
  • Handling of queries satisfactory.
  • Quotations to be acted upon with a sense of urgency, accurate and signed by Smart Solution Manger.
  • Instruction given by Smart Solution Manger, to be carried out promptly.
  • Cross sell
  • Take messages and calls
  • Making appointments with new and existing customers.

Quotations:

  • Prompt reply on quotations to customers.
  • Quotations signed and approved by Smart Solution Manger
  • Quotations faxed through to customer keeping transmission slip of proof.
  • Follow up with customer regarding quotation whether quote is accepted.

Client Visits:

  • Min of 2 appointments per day.
  • Administration And Systems:
  • To keep up to date with Clients: Active customers, Client follow ups, Quotes, Dormant customer, New customer

Motivation:

  • A daily plan will be used to measure time management.
  • Use the Customer Base effectively to ensure you are touching on every aspect of the business every day and to monitor number of calls, appointments, and follow-ups.
  • Use the Dormant, Active and New Business base to measure the growth.
  • Review targets achieved every month to ensure growth is on track.
  • Review call and appointment rate on a daily base, build customer relationship.

Other:

  • To uphold the Smart Solution standards.
  • Attendance of all meetings, functions and training sessions during and after working hours.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to dress code as determined by the Company.
  • To uphold Company Standards.
  • To always maintain respect and good relations with customers and staff.
  • Time to time physical deliveries.
  • Active involvement of stock takes during a month.
  • To ensure all C.O.D customer have paid in full.
  • Checking stock levels daily and placing orders timeously very important.
  • To check back orders and follow up with suppliers daily without fail.
  • To liaise with Credit Controllers daily relating to Credit Holds.

Minimum requirements:

  • Matric Certificate
  • 1-2 years sales experience
  • Must have own vehicle and valid drivers license
