Engineering Planner
Running of engineering store and control stock levels. Managing of spares and
maintenance admin including audits
Key Responsibilities
Plan & prepare work packages for every planned and unplanned maintenance.
Control stock levels on both critical spares, consumables and engineering spares
Order, receive, supervise and manage spares in storeroom.
Coordinate daily, weekly and monthly planning for maintenance shutdown and
maintenance stoppages.
Ensure to execute Gemba-walks to improve overall efficiency
Coordinate to rebuild spare equipment through internal services and external
suppliers
Archive the drawings, manuals and other documents to assist artisans with repairs or
modifications.
Ensure submission engineering drawings for any further required revisions or
upgrades.
Execute modification in maintenance records & key equipment with significant spares
during setting apt reorder levels along with quantities
Coordinate plant shutdowns to attain all essential schedules
Aid with least amount production downtime
Support departments compliance to any Lean Manufacturing goals and objectives
Aid engineering for spare parts preparation and PM lists for new equipment
Provide technical assistance for supporting engineering activiti es
Support proactively all EH &S procedures and policies as well as Food Safety
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12
Electrical and Mechanical Trade Test (advantageous)
35 years experience in Engineering (Essential)
Computer literacy (Essential)
Organisational skills
Attention to detail
Good communication skills
Self-discipline
Ability to work under pressure
