Introduction:
Our client in the steel industry is looking for an energetic Receptionist in Waltloo, Pretoria. If you are someone who enjoys interacting with people and feel comfortable communicating with suppliers and customers as well as staff, you need to apply now. We are looking for someone who can focus on getting things done, persist until the job is done and evaluate and critically examine information.
- Responsibilities / Duties:
- Answer telephone, screen and direct calls.
- Take and relay messages.
- Provide information to callers.
- Greet people entering organization.
- Direct people to correct destination.
- Deal with queries from the public and customers.
- Ensures knowledge of staff movements in and out of organization.
- General administrative and clerical support.
- Prepare letters and documents.
- Receive and sort mail and small deliveries ie. Aramex.
- Tidy and maintain the reception and Boardroom area.
- Search out and book accommodation or transportation, get quotes and do searches as needed, assisting Managers.
- Supervise Cleaning Staff and make sure daily routine is up to date.
- Ordering of any Cleaning Detergents and stationery. (Keeping this up to date)
- Taking minutes and keeping register of meetings when needed.
- Search out and find various quotes needed, assisting Managers.
- Filing and updating documentation in the Financial/HR managers office on a weekly basis.
- Manage, control and order any stationery needed for the office.
- Manage/supervise over the clock-machine, print outs and fix any technical issues.
- Do outbound calls for the companys account queries.
- Assist the companys employee queries such as loan apps, Leave forms etc.
- Compile information and create Spread Sheets for Varies company purposes as requested by Managers and CEO.
- Scanning of documents & Filling documents in order.
Minimum requirements:
- High School diploma generally required.
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures.
- Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications.
- Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
- Keyboard skills.
