ENVIRONMENT:
An Industrial Engineer with critical attention to detail who can work in a pressure-driven environment handling multiple priorities is sought by a fast-paced Protective Mobility service in Pretoria. Your role will include Medium and Heavy-duty trucks (4x4, 6x6, and 8x8 vehicles with high mobility and extreme levels of landmine, IED, and ballistic protection chassis harness design using 3D CAD - and 2D Schematic software, preparing bills of materials and their representative 3D assemblies (Unigraphics NX) while evaluating the scope of the work and managing project timelines.
DUTIES:
- Proven project management/development experience in the Motor Industry/ Manufacturing Engineering
- Manage projects to satisfy customer strategies by meeting milestones, Quality requirements, and Production Part Approval Processes (PPAP)
- ERP & BOM knowledge and experience is an advantage specifically SAP literate
- MS Office is an essential
- Risk Management
- Participate in the global project by managing the local project team to meet the requirements thereof
- An important part of this job is to ensure that the costing is accurate
- Automotive knowledge an advantage including vehicle specifications
- Capital investment applications and management thereof are crucial
- It is an advantage to have a proven Customer Satisfaction record
- Develop and manage local content with local suppliers for new projects
- Implement and track all engineering changes
- Detailed knowledge of FMEA, Control Plan, and Flow charts
- Capable of quarterly and annual sales price adjustments and negotiations
- Presentation and problem-solving skills are important
- Time management skills
- Problem Solving skills are an added advantage

Qualification
- Bachelor of Engineering Industrial Engineering or higher
- 6 - 10 years' working experience
- Automotive Industry experience
- Manufacturing Experience 2- 5 years
