PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

To manage talent management processes to ensure the organisation recruits and develops the right people for the right job thereby enhancing productivity of all employees. Implement and deliver talent programmes and processes that are aligned to overall talent and performance strategy across the Refineries (Springs), Head Office (Illovo) and BIIS (Pretoria).

Requirements

  • Relevant NQF level 8 qualification in Industrial Psychology essential.
  • Registration at HPCSA as a Psychometrist essential
  • At least 5 to 10 years relevant experience in Human Resources with a specific focus on change management and organisational development.
  • Sound knowledge on the Health Profession Council of South Africa and the South African Qualifications Authority.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning Systems i.e. SAP; Success Factors will be a definite advantage.
  • Strong communication-, interaction management-, and time management skills essential
  • Sound assessment interpretation-; presentation and facilitation skills required.
  • Medically fit.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Management of the Performance Management framework, philosophy and policy
  • Source and develop talent management strategies- and tools and maintain demographic data to identify talent pools- and pipelines.
  • Manage the operational Talent Council ensuring that council meets all its business objectives.
  • Identify talent management related risks, develop controls and mitigate the risk by conducting regular audits.
  • Conduct psychometric assessments for development and recruitment purposes.
  • Manage the tertiary and secondary school bursary schemes.
  • Draft job profiles for all positions and keep such updated.
  • Manage mentorship programme.
  • Manage the development of succession plans per department based on gathered information.
  • Manage the delivery of supervisory and management programmes.
  • Ensure adherence to the quality management system.
