Manager: Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation (MPME)
This position calls for a team player with excellent management, planning, monitoring and evaluation skills and the ability to build efficiencies and effectiveness to deliver on the strategy. The incumbent will be responsible for leading and implement the WRC planning, monitoring, evaluation and reporting on activities to ensure that monitoring and evaluation of the various organisational programmes and interventions is aligned with best practice, legislative requirements and the mandate of the WRC. The Manager: Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation will form part of the CEOs office and will report to the Executive: Operations.
The position of Manager: Planning Monitoring & Evaluation will be responsible for the organisational Performance planning whereby the successful incumbent will be developing policies/Frameworks and SOPs regulating performance planning, monitoring and evaluation in the WRC. The incumbent will also be coordinating organization-wide strategic planning and annual performance planning; management, development and the review of the Strategic plan and Annual Performance Plan (APP) for the WRC; as well as ensuring the submission of strategic plans and annual performance plans to relevant statutory bodies.
The requirement for this position is a NQF level 6 qualification in Business Management/ Business Administration or related field. A Post graduate qualification in related fields will be an added advantage. Five (5) years experience in performance planning, monitoring and evaluation within the Public Sector is required. The Applicant must have knowledge of legislative prescripts and framework governing public entities as well as all administrative processes and procedures (Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), Treasury Regulations, Water Research Act, etc.)
