Introduction

Our client requires a Solution Sales Business Sales Consultant in Durban that will report to the Sales Manager. The position will suit a self-starter with an outgoing personality with a mature attitude who can communicate confidently on all levels. The ideal candidate must currently be active in the corporate industry with very strong solutions skills in face-to-face face selling at the executive level. The successful candidate must have a proven track record of
exceeding sales targets through hunting new business only, cold calling, and canvassing within a B2B environment with a strong focus on Logistics.

Job description

  • Identify opportunities and generate sales in the corporate sector.
  • Maintain a level of product knowledge determined by management and measured quarterly by-product assessments.
  • Present at Boardroom and Executive level.
  • Accomplish expected outbound call stats determined by management.
  • Compile & submit reports at management's request.
  • Responsible for driving Enterprise sales, Engagement, and customer support.
  • Building and managing strong relationships with clients and helping products with continuous feedback
  • Generating new business opportunities and hosting virtual and in-person meetings.
  • Researching, Planning, and preparing presentations
  • Communicating new product/service developments/offerings to prospective clients.
  • Effective Pricing discussions and Contract negotiations
  • Responsible for annual sales targets through new client acquisition and growing existing client base in the assigned territory.
  • Identifying new market segments for TDIQ and understanding Client's product offering & use cases we solve
  • Multitasking across internal and external stakeholders to ensure synergies and seamless handover of a client from lead generation to contract.

  • Regular updates of all clients on CRM and other platforms

Minimum requirements

  • Matric
  • Formal Sales Qualifications advantageous
  • Proven track record of canvassing, cold calling, and hunting new business.
  • Past B2B sales experience of 2 years with preferably 1 year in the logistics space
  • Background in technology Solution sales. (Route planning, telematics Logistics background supply chain knowledge operational and sales
    background)
  • Preferably have sales experience in the East Coast Region. (KZNIEC)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Customer-oriented approach.
  • Sharp business acumen and target oriented.
  • Problem-solving aptitude.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Should be open to travel.
