About the job Supply Chain Clerk (Contract Management) 6 Months
Applicants must be in a possession of a Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management. A minimum of one (1) years' experience working in Supply Chain Management under Contract Management. Good understanding of Supply Chain Management procedures. Knowledge of Transversal contracts, Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), PPPFA, Treasury Regulations and Relevant Supply Chain Management prescripts. Knowledge of the Logistical Information System (LOGIS), and Basic Accounting System (BAS). Transversal systems. Job related skills: Supervisory skills. Computer literacy skills. Communications skills (verbal and written). Interpersonal relations. Analytical skills. Teamwork. Working under pressure. Meeting deadlines.
Administer contracts in the department.
- Receive bid/tender documents and appointment letters from Bids units
- Prepare the appointment letter
- Notify successful service provider
- Prepare contract forms and issue to successful bidders
- Prepare service level agreement in conjunction with client
- Submit SLA's to the service providers for input and verification
- Engage legal services to quality assured SLA is submitted and signed by both the client and successful service provider
- Attend to audit queries with regards to contract issues
Administer internal control measure for compliance with policies and procedures of the department
- Ensure that contract forms and SLA's are signed by both client and service provider
- Ensure that lease contract and awarded contract register are updated
- Compile circular regarding new treasury/ DPSA directives and inform officials ofthose directives
- Review of service level agreement
Compile information, statistics, and reports on contracts requested by management
- Submit contract statistics to management on a monthly basis
- Compile consolidated lease reports for the Department.
- Compile and update the SLA status register
