Main purpose of the position:

Effective overall control and management of mechanisation parts and workshop to deliver a sustainable service to all OVK Group clients with profitability.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12;
  • Minimum 4-5 years' experience in a mechanisation environment;
  • Parts and/or workshop management experience required;
  • Technical background with a focus on precision farming technology;
  • Valid driver's license and willing to travel.

Skills:

  • Computer literate;
  • Sound communication and language skills in Afrikaans and English;
  • Personnel management;
  • Natural ability to function successfully in a competitive agricultural environment;
  • Negotiation skills;
  • Able to function under pressure;
  • Good human knowledge

Responsibilities:

  • Financial management;
  • Personnel management;
  • Control and management of administration;
  • Market share growth;
  • Management and maintenance of assets;
  • Inventory management.
