Registered Nurse Long Term Care

 Job Description:

Intercare Recruitment is working with a compassionate care facility dedicated to providing exceptional care to their residents. The community consists of a 49-bed skilled care unit, a 6-bed basic care unit, and a 19-bed assisted living community. They are committed to creating a warm, supportive environment where residents thrive.

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care while ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' health status and develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor residents conditions and vital signs, and promptly report any changes to the healthcare team.
  • Provide wound care, catheter care, and other necessary medical treatments.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate resident care.
  • Educate residents and their families about health conditions, medication, and self-care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).

Qualifications:

  • Current and valid RN licensure in the state of North Dakota.
  • Strong clinical assessment and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in long-term care preferred.
