Salary Range: $27-$28.90 per hour
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday (Flexible, No weekend rotation)

Overview: Join a dedicated team as an Occupational Health Assistant Therapist in a vibrant senior living community. This facility is committed to providing exceptional rehabilitation services and fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for both residents and staff.

Facility Details:

  • Total Beds: 400
    • Long-Term Care (LTC) Unit: 40 beds
    • Assisted Living (AL): 100 beds
    • Independent Living Facility (ILF): 250-275 beds
  • Facilities: 2 Licensed buildings with AL, another AL/LTC unit, and an AL dementia unit. The ILF consists of private homes, cottages, and a condo-type building that also houses the pool and fitness center.
  • Community Activities: A very active ILF community with off-site trips, sports tournaments, and many other amenities.
  • Staff and Support: Full-time Activity department staff for the Licensed buildings that offer off-site trips/activities, often coordinated with Rehab Services.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to residents in various units, including LTC, AL, and ILF.
  • Collaborate with a full-time activity department staff to coordinate off-site trips and activities, often in conjunction with Rehab Services.
  • Participate in special events, staff appreciation days, and activities as part of the team.
  • Work closely with a cohesive leadership team and maintain strong relationships with the TC Administration and the DOR/Rehab team.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Occupational Health Assistant Therapist
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Commitment to providing high-quality care and services to residents
