Intercare Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our compassionate team. This permanent position offers a competitive salary range of up to $50 per hour. As an Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will work Monday to Friday with no weekends, providing vital support to our residents in mastering daily living tasks and adapting to their social and physical environments.

As an Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will work closely with our team of therapists to provide high-quality care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the development and implementation of treatment plans, conducting therapy sessions, and documenting progress.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the development and implementation of treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist

- Conduct therapy sessions with patients, following treatment plans and utilizing appropriate techniques and equipment

- Monitor and document patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed

- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

- Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in the provision of occupational therapy services

- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other therapists to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients

Qualifications:

- Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program

- Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a pediatric or school-based setting

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Knowledge of relevant therapy techniques and equipment

- Familiarity with documentation and record-keeping procedures

- Current CPR certification

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Salary Range: Up to $50 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week
