• Total Hospital Deliveries (Monthly Avg.): 56
• Estimated Deliveries for Hospitalists (Monthly): 16
• Estimated Patient Encounters for Hospitalists (Monthly): 75
• MFM Support: UVA MFM supports the program
• Residency Program: N/A
• In-House Anesthesia: Yes
• EMR: EPIC

Program Details:

• Structure: 2.0 program with MD and CNM 24/7
• 24-Hour Shifts: 5-7 a month
• GYN Coverage: Yes, emergent only
• Circumcisions: On an as-needed basis; pediatricians perform them
• First Assist: Yes, as needed or when available
• Midwives Backup: Yes
• Family Practice Backup: No
• Backup Available to Hospitalists: Yes
