• Hospitalist to Provide GYN Coverage: Yes
• Hospitalist Required to Perform Circumcisions: No
• Hospitalist Needed for First Assist: Yes
• Hospitalist to Back Up Family Practice: Yes (rare occurrence)
• Hospitalist to Back Up Midwives: Yes
• Backup Available to the Hospitalist: Yes (Providence Medical Group Physician or The Everett Clinic Physician)

• Total Hospital Deliveries (Monthly Avg.): ~330
• Total Hospital Deliveries (Annual Avg.): ~4000
• NICU: Level III
• MFM: 24/7 call coverage
• EMR Used in Hospital: Epic
• Residency Program: Family Medicine
• Neonatal Coverage: 1 Physician & APC (Seattle Children's)

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive OB/GYN care to patients, including prenatal, delivery, and postpartum care.
• Conduct routine annual examinations, diagnose and treat reproductive health issues, and provide preventative care.
• Perform surgical procedures related to women's health.
• Collaborate with hospitalists, midwives, and family practice physicians to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Stay current with medical research and advancements in OB/GYN practices.

Qualifications:

• Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Valid state medical license.
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to provide high-quality care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to patient-centered care.
