Physical Therapist needs in ME

Location: Waterville, ME
Salary Range: $40-$50 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday (No weekend rotation)

Overview: Intercare Recruitment  is seeking a dedicated Full-time Physical Therapist to join a short-term and long-term care rehabilitation center  with 90 beds, the center is a medium-sized facility committed to providing exceptional rehabilitation services to its residents.

Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy services to residents in various units, including short-term rehabilitation and long-term care.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on resident needs and goals.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to ensure comprehensive care.
• Monitor and document resident progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate residents and their families on treatment plans, home exercises, and injury prevention.
• Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and other collaborative efforts to improve resident care and outcomes.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for residents.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Physical Therapist
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Commitment to providing high-quality care and services to residents
