Job Overview:
Join a dedicated team at a medical center in Petersburg, VA, as an OB Hospitalist. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a supportive, state-of-the-art environment that provides exceptional women's healthcare.

Hospital Highlights:

• NICU Level: Level II Intermediate
• Monthly Deliveries: Total: 43
• Hospitalists: 9
• Patient Encounters (Not Including Deliveries): 52
• MFM Onsite: Yes
• Residency Program: None
• In-House Anesthesia: Yes

Program Details:

• Shifts: 24-hour shifts
• GYN Coverage Provided by Hospitalists
• Hospitalists to Perform Circumcisions
• First Assist Duties: Not Required (L&D nurses perform first assist during C-sections)
• Support: First assist provided by L&D RNs; comprehensive backup available

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive obstetric care
• Perform circumcisions
• Collaborate with midwives and support staff to ensure high-quality care
• Handle emergencies effectively

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board-Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Strong clinical skills and a passion for women's health
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
