Medicus has partnered with a clinic in central Colorado that has an opening for an Occupational Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide locum coverage.
Location: Frisco, Colorado
Opening Highlights:
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
- No weekends or calls
- Daily Volume: 12-14 patients
- Duties: Work-comp cases, manage care and referrals for injured workers
- Cases: Musculoskeletal injuries, lacerations, etc.
- Support Staff: MA
- EMR: Epic
- Must be board-certified
- DEA Required
- Paid travel & expenses: Full travel. Drive-in candidates are highly preferred
- The provider's rate of pay is $85/hr.

Job Description: Summary: This is the sole provider in an occupational medicine clinic, seeing work comp cases, injured workers from the community, and managing their care. A medical director is onsite once or twice a week as a level 2 provider, overseeing cases who can support locum if scheduled on the same dates as the locum. 8-5 M-F, no weekends, no call
Schedule/Availability Requirements: Candidates must detail all shifts they can fill June-Oct 2025, and the Month/year the provider can start.

Details: Required Procedures/Job Duties: Preferred level 1 work comp certification. See injured workers and manage their care and referrals. Most patients are scheduled, walk ins are possible. Similar to an urgent care environment, most patients have musculoskeletal injuries, lacerations, etc.
EMR: Epic, Support Staff: MA, Reason for Coverage: medical leave and gaps in coverage
Preferred Lodging: Candidates must follow CSH Travel Policy, Air Travel: Local, drive-in candidates are highly preferred
