Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Job Description:
Intercare Recruitment is working with a caring and compassionate long-term care facility located in North Dakota. They offer a variety of services including skilled care, basic care, and assisted living to our residents. Their team is dedicated to providing exceptional care and creating a warm, home-like environment.
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will play a vital role in providing daily care and support to our residents. Under the supervision of a registered nurse, you will assist with activities of daily living, personal care, and other tasks as assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to promote comfort and prevent complications.
- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing team.
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration in accordance with residents dietary needs and preferences.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a sense of community and belonging.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, ensuring infection control protocols are followed at all times.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents.
- Document resident interactions, care provided, and observations in accordance with facility policies.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) licensure in the state of North Dakota.
- Ability to lift and transfer residents safely.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to resident care.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Basic knowledge of long-term care principles and practices.
