Mining Technology Engineer (Geologist)
Join IntelliSense.io as a Mining Technology Engineer!
Shape the Future of Mining with IntelliSense.io
Are you a mining geologist looking to gain AI experience and work on technology solutions that revolutionize stockpile management, material tracking and reconciliation?
IntelliSense.io is seeking a talented and motivated Production Geologist to act as a technical expert and fill the role of Mining Solutions Geologist.
We are pioneers in integrating fundamental physics with objective AI for a novel approach to material tracking and mineral processing. We deliver high-value decision recommendations for the mining industry. Our technology delivers recommendations to humans as their role-specific co-pilots augment human intelligence or direct to the execution systems (machines) making operations autonomous.
With a global, remote-first workforce and regional hubs in the UK, Australia, Chile, and Ireland, we are now expanding our presence in the Middle East, particularly in Saudi Arabia — a global leader in mining development under Vision 2030.
Your Responsibilities
Implement material tracking and reconciliation solutions at mine sites across the globe, ensuring the highest quality and on time delivery.
Map and assess complex material flows and data inputs to identify integrity gaps or error sources.
Act as the bridge between site-based geology teams and IntelliSense.io’s engineering/product teams, ensuring our AI solutions reflect operational realities.
Deliver training and technical support to site teams, driving adoption and measurable value.
Ensure accuracy of modeled inventories and investigate any discrepancies through root cause analysis and the QAQC of spatial, temporal and event data.
Assess data quality of mine source systems and quantify impacts to modeling outputs
Collaborate closely with mine planning, processing, and technical services teams to ensure alignment between geology, planning, and production outcomes.
Work with fleet management and operational data systems to ensure data quality supports reconciliation and reporting accuracy.
Travel to mine sites on an as needed basis to support implementation and site success
Draw on your experience to guide customers in best practices for reconciliation & advanced integrated material tracking
Assess expansion opportunities across the value chain for existing customers
