Shape the Future of Mining with IntelliSense.io

Are you a mining geologist looking to gain AI experience and work on technology solutions that revolutionize stockpile management, material tracking and reconciliation?

IntelliSense.io is seeking a talented and motivated Production Geologist to act as a technical expert and fill the role of Mining Solutions Geologist.

We are pioneers in integrating fundamental physics with objective AI for a novel approach to material tracking and mineral processing. We deliver high-value decision recommendations for the mining industry. Our technology delivers recommendations to humans as their role-specific co-pilots augment human intelligence or direct to the execution systems (machines) making operations autonomous.

With a global, remote-first workforce and regional hubs in the UK, Australia, Chile, and Ireland, we are now expanding our presence in the Middle East, particularly in Saudi Arabia — a global leader in mining development under Vision 2030.

Your Responsibilities

  • Implement material tracking and reconciliation solutions at mine sites across the globe, ensuring the highest quality and on time delivery.

  • Map and assess complex material flows and data inputs to identify integrity gaps or error sources.

  • Act as the bridge between site-based geology teams and IntelliSense.io’s engineering/product teams, ensuring our AI solutions reflect operational realities.

  • Deliver training and technical support to site teams, driving adoption and measurable value.

  • Ensure accuracy of modeled inventories and investigate any discrepancies through root cause analysis and the QAQC of spatial, temporal and event data.

  • Assess data quality of mine source systems and quantify impacts to modeling outputs

  • Collaborate closely with mine planning, processing, and technical services teams to ensure alignment between geology, planning, and production outcomes.

  • Work with fleet management and operational data systems to ensure data quality supports reconciliation and reporting accuracy.

  • Travel to mine sites on an as needed basis to support implementation and site success

  • Draw on your experience to guide customers in best practices for reconciliation & advanced integrated material tracking

  • Assess expansion opportunities across the value chain for existing customers

What You Bring

  • A degree in Geology or Earth Sciences (essential).

  • 3–5+ years of mine production geology experience, particularly in:
    • Ore control

    • Stockpile management

    • Mine-to-mill reconciliation

  • Strong understanding of:
    • Reconciliation factors and their calculation

    • Dilution and ore loss analysis

    • Resource modelling processes (experience not required, but understanding essential)

    • Mine planning processes (planning experience not required)

    • Fleet management systems and their impact on material tracking and stockpiles

  • Proven ability to conduct root cause analysis on reconciliation or performance variances.

  • Experience assessing QA/QC systems, sampling protocols, and assay lab performance.

  • Ability to interpret and communicate complex material movement and data workflows.

  • Strong analytical mindset with high attention to data integrity and governance.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage audiences across technical disciplines, industries, and countries.

  • Openness to travel to the United Kingdom for onboarding and training.
  • Have lead or supported ore control and production geology initiatives

  • Have analysed and optimised mine-to-mill reconciliation, identifying variances and driving continuous improvement.

  • Have conducted root cause analysis on reconciliation gaps, stockpile performance discrepancies, dilution, and ore loss.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary and benefits package in line with local market standards

  • Remote-first and flexible working model

  • A fast-paced, supportive international environment with significant career growth opportunities
  • Opportunities to learn Geometallurgy and process optimization
