What you'll do:
As a Estimator, you will review client email briefs, interpret production requirements, and generate competitive and consistent pricing. The role supports the sales team by ensuring fast turnaround times, accuracy in quotations, and reliable cost structures across customers.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
Estimation & Pricing
- Review and interpret client briefs received via email to create accurate quotes
- Prepare cost estimates based on print production requirements
- Apply knowledge of print production processes to ensure accurate costing
- Understand and apply knowledge of paper types, weights, and sizes
- Assess print finishing processes such as binding, laminating, cutting, and other production requirements
- Create consistent pricing structures for customers
- Maintain and sort historical pricing data for reference and consistency
Communication & Workflow
- Communicate effectively with internal teams to clarify job requirements
- Work within set timeframes to deliver quotes and meet business expectations
- Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all estimates and documentation
Tools & Reporting
- Use Excel spreadsheets to prepare, track, and manage pricing data and estimates
- Create quotes directly from email briefs
Ad Hoc Duties
- Add delivery consignments into the database accurately and timely
- Search for items and records within the database
- Locate and email delivery Proof of Delivery (POD) documents to the sales team upon request
Successful candidates must have:
- Proven experience of at least 3 – 5 years estimating (preferably within print production)
- Strong knowledge of print production workflows
- Understanding of print finishing techniques
- Knowledge of paper specifications (weight, size, types)
- Strong Excel skills and experience with spreadsheets
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in calculations
- Ability to manage deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Work Arrangements:
- Schedule: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM PHT
- Work Setup: Work On-Site
- Office Location: Parkway Corporate Center, Alabang, Muntinlupa City
