What you'll do:

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will play a critical revenue-generating role responsible for driving new business for our Australian partner through systematic outbound prospecting, inbound lead qualification, and pipeline development.

This is a high-activity, consultative sales role that combines research, multi-channel outreach, and relationship nurturing to convert cold prospects into qualified sales conversations and ultimately signed engagements. Working directly under the Managing Director, you will be at the front line of the company's commercial growth engine, engaging with Australian B2B decision-makers including Operations Managers, Facilities Directors, Project Engineers, and Insurance Assessors primarily through LinkedIn, email, and phone. You will represent our Australian partner with professionalism and technical awareness at all times while supporting the continued growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities for this role include:

Outbound Prospecting & Lead Generation

  • Execute a structured five-step LinkedIn outreach sequence (connection request acceptance message value touch soft engagement meeting ask), targeting 15–20 qualified prospects per day.
  • Build and manage targeted prospect lists within Zoho CRM, aligned to ideal customer profiles (ICPs), including industrial facilities, pharmaceutical/FMCG manufacturers, construction and infrastructure companies, insurance assessors, and brownfield project developers.
  • Monitor Development Application (DA) portals to identify construction and renovation projects that may require 3D scanning services.
  • Identify and engage construction and equipment supplier partners as potential referral channels.
  • Conduct daily prospect research to personalize outreach and engagement activities, ensuring communications are relevant and tailored.

Inbound Lead Qualification & Response

  • Respond to all inbound enquiries from channels such as Google Ads, website forms, and LinkedIn messages within two hours.
  • Qualify leads using the STAR framework (Situation, Technical Requirements, Authority/Budget, Roadblocks/Timeline).
  • Accurately assess, score, and route qualified leads to the Managing Director for discovery calls and proposal development.
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline within Zoho CRM at all times.

Pipeline Management & CRM

  • Own and maintain the full SDR pipeline within Zoho CRM (or equivalent CRM platform), from initial prospect engagement through to qualified handover.
  • Log all outreach activity, responses, and follow-up actions with same-day accuracy.
  • Track and report on weekly KPIs including contacts made, connection acceptance rates, responses, meetings booked, and pipeline value.
  • Identify pipeline gaps and proactively increase outreach activity to maintain the 5–6× pipeline coverage ratio required by the sales plan.

Consultative Selling & Discovery

  • Conduct initial discovery conversations with qualified prospects to uncover technical requirements, project scope, budget parameters, and decision timelines. 
  • Apply the Automation Discovery Protocol in every business engagement to systematically identify downstream engineering opportunities.
  • Articulate the business service offerings (Faro terrestrial scanning, Artec Leo handheld scanning, point cloud processing, as-built documentation, Revit/CAD deliverables) in language meaningful to each prospect's role
  • Identify cross-sell and upsell pathways into the Engineering consulting and automation integration services

Proposals, Quotes & Follow-Through

  • Support the preparation of productized service proposals using WorkFlowMax proposal templates (3D Scan packages, As-Built Documentation, Isolation Mapping)
  • Follow up on all submitted proposals within 48 hours and at structured intervals thereafter until a decision is reached
  • Document win/loss reasons for every proposal to drive continuous improvement

Reporting & Communication

  • Submit a Weekly Sales Activity Report to the Managing Director every Friday covering: outreach volume, leads generated, meetings booked, pipeline value, and KPI status
  • Participate in a regular video call with the Managing Director for pipeline review, coaching, and strategic direction.
  • Flag any patterns in prospect objections, competitor activity, or market intelligence that could inform RS's go-to-market strategy maintain professional, timely, and proactive communication with the Managing Director at all times.

Brand & Compliance

  • Represent the business professionally across all written and verbal communications, upholding the brand standards of a premium technical services provider
  • Adhere to business' group Values, Policies, Procedures, and data privacy obligations in all activities.
  • Undertake ongoing learning about the business' scanning technology, service delivery methodology, and target industry sectors.

Successful candidate must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an outbound B2B sales, SDR, or business development role, preferably within technical, engineering, or industrial services sectors.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the engineering, construction, or industrial services industry.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience using CRM platforms (Zoho, HubSpot, Salesforce, WorkflowMax, or equivalent).
  • Experience using prospecting tools such as Apollo.io, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar platforms.
  • Active and professional LinkedIn profile, with demonstrated experience in B2B outreach or content engagement.
  • Exceptional written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting, proposals, and business communication.
  • Proven ability to sell based on value and ROI, particularly within complex, multi-stakeholder decision-making environments.
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales activity KPIs and revenue targets.
  • Experience selling engineering, surveying, construction, or professional services is a strong advantage.
  • Familiarity with Australian B2B decision-making styles, market expectations, and professional communication standards.
  • Proven ability to work independently and remotely within offshore or international team structures.
  • Strong ability to handle objections, document conversations accurately, and maintain structured sales follow-ups.

  • Schedule: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Philippine Time)
