Fabricator / Workshop Operative – Aluminium Fabrication
St Helens
£21.50 per hour inc holiday pay 
6–8 Week Contract (Immediate Start)
8–10 Hour Days + Overtime Available

We are currently recruiting experienced Fabricators / Workshop Operatives for a busy workshop-based project in St Helens, specialising in the fabrication of aluminium housings and boxes.

This is an excellent short-term opportunity offering competitive hourly rates and plenty of hours for the right candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabrication of aluminium housings and enclosures to specification
• Operating workshop machinery including:
  • Guillotines
  • Press brakes / folders / bending machines
• Use of hand tools for assembly and finishing
• Tacking components together ready for coded welders
• Reading and working from technical drawings
• Ensuring high standards of quality and accuracy
• Maintaining a safe and organised working environment

Requirements

• Proven experience in fabrication (aluminium preferred)
• Experience operating guillotines, press brakes, or similar machinery
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Reliable and able to work to deadlines
