General Operative

Position: General Operative

Location: Rochester

Start date: Immediate 

Duration: 3 weeks 

Hours: Approx 10 hours/day, including weekend of 21st and 22nd June and 5th and 6th July 

PAYE Pay Rates: 

Mon-Fri: £20.00/hr, Including £2.15/hr Holiday Pay

Sat-Sun: £28.00/hr, Including £3.01/hr Holiday Pay 

The Role:

Our client has requirements for additional General Operatives for an industrial shutdown on a power station near Rochester. Duties will include assisting with repair and replacement of cooling tower equipment, moving materials, labouring, industrial cleaning, using hand and power tools.

Requirements:

CSCS / CCNSG card

Confined Space Entry certificate 

Working at Height certificate an advantage 

Experience using hand and power tools

Previous experience in the heavy engineering industry; Power, O&G, Petrochemical, Renewables etc.
