Fitters Mate

Position: Fitters Mate
Location: Finsbury, Central London
Start date: Immediate
Duration: 2-3 weeks
Shifts: 10hr Day shifts Mon-Fri
Pay Rates: £14.00/hr PAYE

The Role:

Our client has requirements for an additional Fitters Mate / Fire Watcher for a prestigious commercial construction project in Central London. The role will involve:

• General labouring
• Moving materials
• Assisting pipe fitters and welders
• Using hand tools / power tools
• Fire watcher duties
• Adhering to all site heath and safety rules and requirements

The initial requirement is for 2-3 weeks, but due to the size and scale of the project can lead to more long term work for the right candidate.

Requirements:

• CSCS card
• Experience assisting mechanical site trades and using hand tools
• Fire marshal certificates an advantage
