Role: Site Manager

Location: Bedford and Nationwide

Start date: Immediate

Duration: Permanent

Hours: 45-50hrs/week Mon-Fri + Weekend O/T

Salary: £48,000 per annum + car allowance

The Role:

Our client is currently recruiting an additional Site Manager for the water treatment plant and installation and maintenance projects nationwide. The role will involve the day to day running of projects, including overseeing health & safety, productivity, quality, and commercial output. Duties will include:

Reporting to and working with the Project Manager.

Manage Site Health and Safety

Supervising of all works undertaken

Managing sub-contractors.

Organising labour and materials.

Lead Progress Meeting's.

Assess the quality of work that the sub-contractors are delivering.

To assist the quality manager with all QA sign offs.

Dealing with any technical issues that may arise.

Making sure that safe working practices are always maintained to company procedures and industry standards.

Attending everyday meetings with the management and other trades.

Delivering toolbox talks.

Arranging inductions.

To manage the productivity and push the project towards the completion.

Manage schedule of works

Liaise with client, subcontractors and partners by having morning daily briefings and regular site meetings

Compile Install, repair and maintenance programmes

Assist and enable surveys

Management of specialist sub-contractors

Provide technical assistance and act as site AP

Requirements:

Mechanical & electrical background

SMSTS (Site Managers Safety Training Scheme)

Full 3 day first aid

Black CSCS Card - Management & Professionals

EUSR - Water hygiene

Temporary Works Coordinator

Desirable:

City & Guilds confined space entrant & topman (Medium Risk)(6160-09)

CPCS appointed person (A61)
