Semi Skilled Fitter

Position: Semi Skilled Fitter

Location: Drax, Selby

PAYE Pay: £1600/week Gross

Hours: 10hr shifts, Mon-Sun

Start Date: Immediate

Duration: 5 weeks

The Role:

Our client has a requirement for Semi Skilled Fitters for a shutdown on a power station in Selby. Immediate starts are available for 5 weeks initially. Further work may follow till Sept. Duties will assisting with mechanical maintenance and replacement of mechanical components across the site including precipitators, electrode wires, hoppers etc.

Essential Requirements:

CCNSG card

Experience of using hand tools and power tools

Skills and Attributes Required:

Flexible approach and adaptable to changing conditions

Strong team player with the ability to work independently and on own initiative

Good communication skills

Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

Positive attitude to safety

Tolerant of diverse working situations and conditions
