Position Overview:
As the Piping Supervisor for the Turbine Construction Project, working on a new build Energy from Waste plant. You will be responsible for overseeing subcontractors to ensure that all installation of pipework is completed to a satisfactory standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage quality control procedures and processes throughout the turbine construction project.
- Collaborate closely with the construction team to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Monitor and document all aspects of the construction work to ensure it meets the required quality specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any deviations from quality standards.
- Work in partnership with cross-functional teams to promptly resolve quality-related issues.
- Maintain meticulous records of quality control activities, test results, and corrective actions.
- Develop and implement quality control plans, protocols, and procedures.
- Provide training and guidance to construction staff on quality control best practices.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in quality control, preferably in a similar role within the energy, manufacturing, or construction sector.
- Strong knowledge of quality control standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and comprehensive documentation.
- Relevant qualifications in quality control or a related field.
