Position: Mechanical Fitter

Location: Port Talbot, South Wales

PAYE Pay: £1600/week Gross

Hours: 10hr shifts, Mon-Sun

Start Date: 19.06

Duration: 10x shifts

The Role:

Our client has a requirement for Mechanical Fitters for a shutdown on Port Talbot for 10 days. Duties will include mechanical maintenance and replacement of mechanical components across the site, including precipitators precipitator filter systems. Recent induction on Port Talbot preferred, but inductions can be arranged. 

Essential Requirements:

CCNSG card

Mechanical Apprenticeship / City & Guilds / NVQ 3

Confined Space Entry certificate

Skills and Attributes Required:

Flexible approach and adaptable to changing conditions

Strong team player with the ability to work independently and on own initiative

Good communication skills

Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
