Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

WE ARE HIRING : Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Location: Colombo, Western Province, Sri Lanka

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead QA efforts with a focus on automation testing using Selenium and C# .NET.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated UI test scripts with Selenium WebDriver.
• Perform testing of REST APIs using custom automation frameworks.
• Apply Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) practices.
• Conduct manual testing as needed, ensuring adherence to Agile methodologies and QA best practices.
• Execute cross-browser and cross-mobile platform testing via automation.
• Prepare test plans, documentation, and reports for project stakeholders.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and client teams for end-to-end software development lifecycle quality.
• Ensure continuous integration and delivery pipelines through Jenkins or similar tools.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and foster team collaboration.

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of experience in Quality Assurance with a solid understanding of manual testing and Agile methodologies.
• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in automation testing for web and mobile applications.
• Strong proficiency in Selenium with C# .NET, NUnit, MsTest, or TestNG.
• Proficiency in SQL and strong coding/scripting background.
• Experience in automation framework design, TDD, and BDD.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or similar).
• Sound knowledge of software testing methodologies, best practices, and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to interact directly with clients.
