Role Overview 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Management Accountant to support costing, pricing, profitability analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial decision-making within a dynamic manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate product costing structures, supporting commercial and operational decisions through financial analysis, and driving cost optimization initiatives across the business. This role is ideal for a finance professional with strong costing expertise and a passion for business performance improvement. 

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely product costing in alignment with business requirements.
• Prepare and maintain pricing structures, Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings, and cost structures within SAP.
• Support cost planning and costing processes to ensure effective cost management and profitability control.
• Prepare costing reports, cost variance analyses, and profitability reviews to support management decision-making.
• Develop financial plans, forecasts, budgets, and analytical reports that support business planning activities.
• Analyze product costs and margins while identifying opportunities for cost reduction and operational improvements.
• Monitor cost of sales, sales mix performance, and order-level profitability.
• Provide management with meaningful financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
• Support pricing decisions through financial analysis and commercial evaluations.
• Collaborate with Production, Procurement, Sales, Finance, and other cross-functional teams to ensure costing accuracy and financial discipline.
• Support management accounting activities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function.

Candidate Profile

• Partly qualified CA Sri Lanka, CIMA, or an equivalent professional qualification.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of costing, pricing, budgeting, forecasting, and management accounting principles.
• Experience working with ERP systems; exposure to SAP will be highly advantageous.
• Strong analytical and financial problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Ability to interpret financial information and provide actionable business insights.
• High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
