Role Overview

We are seeking a qualified and motivated Chemist – R&D to support research, development, and technical problem-solving activities within a textile and garment manufacturing environment. The role focuses on chemical formulation support, customer issue resolution, and collaboration with production and quality teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support research and development activities related to chemical applications in textile and garment processing

  • Assist in developing, testing, and improving chemical formulations and processes

  • Visit customer locations to support problem-solving and technical issue resolution

  • Work closely with production and quality teams to ensure effective implementation of chemical solutions

  • Maintain proper documentation related to R&D activities and trials

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications

  • Graduate in Chemistry

Experience & Skills

  • 2–3 years of experience in the garment or textile industry

  • Strong understanding of chemical applications used in textile or garment processing

  • Ability and willingness to visit customer locations for technical support and problem-solving

  • Good analytical and troubleshooting skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
