Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Manager / Senior Executive – Business Development to support international business growth through market research, product development, and strategic execution. This role plays a key part in identifying new opportunities, launching product lines, managing stakeholder relationships, and coordinating import/export operations while aligning closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements.

  • Analyze market data to identify new business opportunities and structure product ranges to suit diverse customer segments.

  • Develop and execute go-to-market plans for launching new product lines across retail and food service markets.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and customer expectations.

  • Work effectively with sales, marketing, product development, and operations teams to execute business development initiatives.

  • Contribute to marketing and communication strategies to strengthen brand awareness and market presence.

  • Track and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including product performance, client engagement, and sales pipeline.

  • Present business proposals, marketing strategies, and product concepts to potential clients with confidence.

  • Coordinate import and export shipment activities and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and clients.

  • Ensure all import/export activities are completed within agreed timelines and budgets.

Qualifications & Skills Required

  • Degree in Management, Marketing, or Sales.

  • Full or part qualification in CIM will be an added advantage.

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Business Development, with exposure to international markets.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and presentation development.

  • Knowledge of tea extracts or related products will be an advantage.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong ability to prepare impactful presentations and attract customers.

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Strong negotiation, persuasion, and relationship-building skills.
