Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and technically skilled Maintenance & Project Engineer – Electrical to oversee preventive maintenance, electrical upgrades, and project execution across corporate facilities. This role focuses on ensuring uninterrupted building operations, quality standards, safety compliance, and cost-effective delivery of engineering solutions within a leading banking environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Electrical Maintenance & Operations
  Plan and execute preventive maintenance for all existing electrical systems
  Ensure scheduled repairs and maintenance are completed accurately and on time
  Oversee contractors to ensure required quality and safety standards are met
  Ensure continuous availability of maintenance services through contractor agreements
• Project Management
  Manage electrical system upgrades, installations, and improvement projects
  Optimize utilization of resources for timely and cost-effective project delivery
  Support facilities enhancement and modernization initiatives
• Financial & Vendor Management
  Handle contractor payments accurately and on time, including retention releases
  Support budget planning, cost control, and resource allocation
  Coordinate with vendors and service providers for operational continuity
• Technical Advisory & Governance
  Provide expert recommendations to management for technical decision-making
  Ensure compliance with engineering, safety, and building standards
  Stay updated on latest engineering technologies and industry developments

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's Degree specialized in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university
• Minimum 10+ years of post-degree experience in maintenance, upgrading, electrical design, and installations
• 
  
• Preferred Qualifications

Chartered status in Electrical Engineering (IESL or equivalent)
Degree / Diploma in Project Management, Energy Management, Facilities Management, or Green Rating Systems

• Strong expertise in building electrical systems and maintenance operations
• Strong knowledge of project management and budget management
  
• Leadership, agility, and communication skills
• Change management and procurement management skills
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
• Ability to manage multiple contractors and stakeholders effectively
  
• High attention to quality, compliance, and safety standards

Additional Requirements

• Age below 40 years (as per vacancy criteria)
