Role Overview

We are seeking a highly responsible and detail-oriented Senior Operations Executive  to manage vessel operations and port-related activities. This role focuses on coordinating port operations, handling documentation, and ensuring smooth execution of shipping agency processes within a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day port agency operations and vessel coordination
• Prepare and handle PDA/FDA documentation and port-related payments
  
• Coordinate with port authorities to obtain necessary approvals and permissions
• Maintain system updates on all operational movements
  
• Arrange logistics including transportation and accommodation for crew or stakeholders
• Handle email communication with local and international clients
  
• Coordinate closely with internal teams to ensure operational efficiency
• Attend port operations as required and oversee execution on-site
  
• Ensure timely completion of all operational tasks and documentation

Candidate Profile

• Minimum GCE Advanced Level qualification
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in shipping agency or logistics operations
• Valid motorbike license is mandatory

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of shipping, port, and logistics operations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  
• Good communication skills in English and Sinhala
• Strong coordination and multitasking abilities
  
• Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
• Willingness to work late hours and on a roster basis
  
• High level of responsibility, accuracy, and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
