About the Role

We are seeking a creative, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented Content Creator Intern to join our Digital Media and Marketing team and support content development, social media management, digital storytelling, and marketing campaigns.

The selected candidate will be responsible for creating engaging content for social media platforms, websites, and other digital channels, supporting creative campaigns, assisting with video editing and photography, and contributing fresh ideas to strengthen brand awareness and audience engagement.

This internship offers an excellent opportunity for students and recent graduates who are passionate about content creation, social media, graphic design, video editing, and digital marketing to gain practical experience in a professional working environment.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Digital Storytelling

• Create engaging and creative content for social media platforms, websites, and other digital channels.
• Develop content in various formats, including written posts, graphics, images, and videos.
• Write creative captions, short-form video scripts, blog content, and marketing copy.
• Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines, campaign objectives, and audience expectations.
• Generate fresh content ideas and creative concepts for marketing campaigns.
• Support the development of visually appealing and engaging digital content.

Social Media Content Planning

• Assist in planning and maintaining social media content calendars.
• Ensure timely and consistent delivery of scheduled content.
• Research social media trends, hashtags, viral content, and competitor activities.
• Identify creative opportunities to improve engagement and brand visibility.
• Support content creation for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant platforms.
• Work closely with the marketing team to maintain consistency across digital channels.

Video Editing & Visual Content Development

• Assist in creating and editing short-form videos, reels, and promotional content.
• Support video production, editing, transitions, captions, and content enhancement activities.
• Assist with photography, videography, and content shoots.
• Support image editing, visual enhancements, and graphic design requirements.
• Collaborate with marketing and design teams to execute creative concepts.
• Ensure visual content maintains a professional and engaging appearance.

Digital Marketing & Campaign Support

• Support the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns.
• Assist in developing creative materials for promotions and campaigns.
• Coordinate with team members to deliver content requirements within deadlines.
• Monitor social media performance and audience engagement.
• Analyze content performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support brand communication and digital audience engagement initiatives.
• Assist with additional content and marketing projects as assigned.

Content Quality & Coordination

• Ensure all content is accurate, visually appealing, and aligned with brand standards.
• Review written and visual content for quality, accuracy, and effectiveness.
• Maintain organized content files and creative resources.
• Manage assigned tasks efficiently and meet deadlines consistently.
• Collaborate effectively with marketing and design teams.
• Maintain a proactive and creative approach to all assigned responsibilities.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Media, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• Students and fresh graduates with a strong interest in content creation are encouraged to apply.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Creative mindset with a passion for social media, digital storytelling, and emerging content trends.
• Basic knowledge of content creation and social media management.
• Familiarity with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Photoshop, or similar design and editing tools will be an advantage.
• Basic photography, videography, or copywriting skills will be an added advantage.
• Ability to develop engaging captions, creative ideas, and social media content.
• Good understanding of LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other social platforms.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Self-motivated, responsible, enthusiastic, and passionate about digital content creation.
• Willingness to work onsite in Rajagiriya.
