About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Purchasing Manager to lead and manage all purchasing and procurement activities while ensuring cost efficiency, quality standards, and uninterrupted operational support.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supplier management, procurement planning, contract negotiations, inventory coordination, and driving cost-saving initiatives while maintaining compliance with internal policies and procurement best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and oversee all purchasing and procurement activities.
• Ensure timely procurement of goods and services while maintaining cost efficiency and quality standards.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to achieve optimal commercial outcomes.
• Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure continuity of supply.
• Maintain proper procurement records and documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Coordinate closely with Finance, Stores, Operations, Food & Beverage, and other departments to support operational requirements.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and procurement procedures.
• Monitor market trends, pricing movements, and supplier performance.
• Identify and recommend cost-saving opportunities and procurement improvements.
• Manage supplier evaluations and contract performance reviews.
• Supervise, mentor, and support purchasing team members.
• Contribute to inventory management and stock optimization initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
• Prior experience within the hospitality industry, leisure sector, or a members' club environment will be a strong advantage.
• Professional qualification in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or a related field.
• Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
• Excellent analytical, planning, and organizational capabilities.
• Sound knowledge of inventory management and procurement best practices.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using inventory management and procurement systems will be an added advantage.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
