Role Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations and support business decision-making through accurate financial reporting. This role involves handling accounting processes, reconciliations, compliance, and working closely with internal and external stakeholders in a dynamic distribution environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, and cash flow updates
• Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger entries
  
• Perform bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements
  
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders
  
• Support ERP system improvements and financial process enhancements
• Conduct periodic stock verification at warehouse and operational locations
  
• Support internal and external audits related to financial and inventory processes
• Strengthen internal controls and improve financial accuracy and efficiency
  

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional qualification in CIMA, ACCA, or CA is preferred
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in FMCG or distribution environments

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced MS Excel
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and support business decisions
