Role Overview

We are looking for an Executive – Human Resources & Administration to manage the day-to-day HR and administrative operations of the organization. This role focuses on employee relations, payroll administration, HR compliance, and general administration, ensuring smooth operations while adhering to company policies and Sri Lankan labour laws.

The role also supports employee engagement initiatives and coordinates administrative activities across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and conflict resolution.

  • Support employee engagement and retention initiatives.

  • Manage payroll processing through HRIS systems.

  • Maintain accurate employee records and personal files.

  • Assist in recruitment processes, including job postings, interviews, and selection.

  • Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and induction programs for new hires.

  • Ensure compliance with Sri Lankan labour laws and internal HR policies.

  • Oversee day-to-day office administration and coordination.

  • Assist in arranging official travel, transportation, and accommodation for employees.

  • Coordinate with HR representatives at other locations to maintain consistent HR practices.

  • Work closely with cross-functional departments to support smooth operational processes.

  • Organize company events, functions, and employee engagement activities as required.

Qualifications & Experience

Educational Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Human Resources Management or a related field.

Experience

  • 2–3 years of experience in HR, preferably within a manufacturing or production environment.

Skills & Other Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of payroll processing and HRIS systems.

  • Experience with MiHCM or HSenid will be an added advantage.

  • In-depth understanding of Sri Lankan labour laws and HR compliance.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion.

  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.
