WE ARE HIRING : Assistant Manager / Manager Finance

Key Accountabilities

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented finance professional to join as an Assistant Manager / Manager Finance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with tax regulations, and supporting management in strategic financial decision-making.

Financial Management & Reporting

• Provide complete and accurate financial and management information in a timely manner.
• Conduct monthly financial meetings to review performance.
• Circulate monthly board pack and other management reports.
• Complete accurate Annual Operating Plan (Budget Packs) within stipulated deadlines.
• Prepare accurate monthly P&L and cashflow forecasts.

Compliance & Audit

• Liaise with auditors, regulatory bodies, and other statutory institutions.
• Ensure timely filing of tax returns and adherence to changes in tax laws and regulations.
• Introduce and implement Internal Operating Procedures as per financial SOPs.

Team & Stakeholder Engagement

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure financial integrity.
• Provide guidance to teams on financial processes and systems.
• Support leadership in strategic planning and decision-making.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (e.g., B.Com, BBA in Finance).
• Professional accounting qualification (CA Sri Lanka, CIMA, ACCA, CMA fully or part qualified).
• Experience

• Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in finance/accounting, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial role.
• Industry exposure in travel, tourism, hospitality, or similar is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of Sri Lankan tax laws, accounting standards, and statutory requirements.
• Proficiency in financial software / ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, budgeting, and forecasting skills.
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
• High integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
