Role Overview 

We are seeking a detail-oriented Paraplanner to support the preparation and review of financial planning documentation while assisting financial advisers with client servicing activities. The successful candidate will play a key role in producing Statements of Advice (SoA), conducting financial modelling, supporting compliance requirements, and ensuring high-quality documentation aligned with industry regulations. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review templated financial planning Statements of Advice (SoA).
  • Support Associate Advisers in servicing existing clients.
  • Work across multiple online systems and platforms to generate financial planning documentation.
  • Make amendments to financial plans based on adviser requirements.
  • Enter and validate text-based and numerical information from source documents.
  • Prepare financial modelling and projection reports for client recommendations.
  • Research and obtain information required to complete documentation.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of insurance, pension, and investment products.
  • Keep up to date with changes in the financial services and regulatory environment.
  • Ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance of all client documentation.

Candidate Profile

  • Degree in Management, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Part qualification in CIMA, AAT, ACCA, Chartered Accounting, Banking, or similar professional qualifications will be considered.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Financial Planning Administration, Paraplanning, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of financial planning concepts and documentation.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate and high-quality documentation.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
  • Good analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively supporting advisers and stakeholders.
