Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Accounts and MIS Manager to oversee the preparation of financial management reports, ensure compliance with statutory and government requirements, and support effective financial decision-making.

The ideal candidate should possess strong financial acumen, analytical and planning skills, strategic thinking ability, and leadership potential to drive financial performance and support business growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely preparation of regular financial statements with clear analysis
  • Prepare cash flow reports for submission to management
  • Prepare budgets with complete analysis to support decision-making processes
  • Conduct cost-benefit analysis reports to support management decisions
  • Provide financial data for management decisions related to credit limits
  • Recommend process improvements and stronger controls to manage marketing expenses
  • Conduct internal audits when required
  • Prepare ad-hoc and related financial reports as required by management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and alignment of financial reports
  • Support improved financial controls, reporting processes, and management information systems
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, financial, and government reporting requirements
  • Perform other finance-related tasks assigned by management based on business requirements

Qualifications & Experience

Educational Qualifications

  • Chartered Accountant qualification
  • Bachelor's Degree in Commerce or a related field

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, MIS, or related leadership roles
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or related industries would be preferred
  • Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, internal audits, and financial analysis is required

Skills & Other Requirements

  • Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting practices, and financial analysis
  • Proficiency in financial software such as Tally and ERP systems
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Strong planning, reporting, and financial control skills
  • Ability to prepare accurate financial reports and management information
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
  • Strategic thinking ability with attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet reporting deadlines
  • Leadership potential with the ability to support financial performance and business growth
